About The Facility Kent Enviropower operates the waste management facility to recycle and recover energy from non-hazardous waste from Kent and the surrounding area.The facility can take up to 500,000 tonnes a year of non-hazardous waste from households and businesses in and around Kent for energy recovery, and up to 65,000 tonnes a year of sorted materials which are separated and sent for recycling. The facility began operating in late December 2008. |
